Fluffy, spiced layers of cinnamon and sugar make this treat as delicious as it is beautiful. Whether you’re hosting a cozy holiday brunch or looking for a show-stopping dessert, this bread is guaranteed to wow your guests!
For the Dough:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the warm milk, yeast, sugar, 2 eggs, butter, 3 1/2 cups flour, and salt.
Mix on medium speed until the dough comes together and pulls away from the bowl’s sides. The dough should be sticky, but if it’s too sticky, gradually add the remaining 1/4 cup flour.
Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead into a smooth ball. Grease a large bowl, place the dough inside, and cover with plastic wrap. Let it rise for 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
For the filling:
In a small bowl, mix the butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon until well combined.
Lightly dust a work surface with flour. Once the dough has risen, punch it down and shape into a ball. Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a 10-inch circle.
Place one circle of dough on a parchment lined baking sheet. Spread 1/3 of the filling evenly over the dough, leaving a 1/2 inch border.
Repeat with the remaining wedges to create the snowflake pattern. Cover the dough with plastic wrap and let it rise in a warm place for 45 minutes, or refrigerate overnight to rise slowly.
